About me
Buzzy Jackson is an award-winning author who lives in Boulder, Colorado. She has a Ph.D. in History from UC Berkeley and is a voting member of the National Book Critics Circle. Her books include To Die Beautiful: A Novel (Dutton) which won the Colorado Book Award, as well as A Bad Woman Feeling Good: Blues and the Women Who Sing Them (W.W. Norton); Shaking the Family Tree (Simon & Schuster); and The Inspirational Atheist (Plume). She is currently at work on a new historical novel about how the medieval history of witch trials led to the 2022 overturning of Roe v. Wade, forthcoming from Dutton in 2027.
